Fashion Inspiration: Denim Jacket

Ever since I noticed the possibilities to match with denim jacket, I have been tempted to get one but have not spotted any that I like. Denim jacket is always a commonly seen item in Japanese street fashion and it is really versatile. It can also bring out a personality out of a person.

Over the years, there are also more choices for denim jackets - cropped, oversized, acid wash, military, studded, with hoodie, etc. Personally, I like oversized denim jacket cause it can help to make me look petite and cover up my (bottom) fats. It also brings out a boyish character. (*´艸`*) At times, I also wish there's winter in Singapore, so I could play with layering of clothes as seen in Harajuku Street Fashion. *recently the weather has been too hot for such outfits* (｡•́︿•̀｡) On the other hand, cropped denim jackets suit girly girls and also girls who like to reveal a slender body shape or match it with loose and baggy dress to reveal the waist line.

As seen, most are common basic outfits. One can basically pull off with any clothing on. This would probably be why denim jackets trend never seems to die off over the years.

DIY: Mr Men and Little Miss bracelet

I realized it is always hard find funky accessories for Harajuku style in Singapore, otherwise they are expensive. But earlier when I saw this colorful hello kitty bracelet from Forever 21, an idea strikes me!

⋙ Cute right cute right?! I think if I see it and not expensive, I'll buy it but I think by now should be OOS. (｡•́︿•̀｡)

Back to main point, this DIY is actually for those who used to casually collect gachapon toys. Like me! Hahahaha I believe there is like a box of them left abandoned aside and don't know what to do with them. Actually it's either too cute till can't bear to use them or because they are keychains/handphone straps that have nowhere to tangle on. But now, you can make them into superrrr cute and funky bracelets that no one else has! Like you have just bought something from Harajuku or Hongdae. Hahahaha.

Actually they are freebies I got from 7-Eleven years ago.

Basically, you just remove all the keychain hooks or handphone straps away and then hook them to a bracelet chain. I would recommend something thinner so that your little cuties can be on focus.

⋙ This is how it looks for mine.

How chunky the bracelet looks like depends on the size and amount of keychains you used. Like mine is already big in size, so they look more chunky. But don't put too little pendants, cause you won't want it to look like the typical bracelets. You know those bracelets with a few bracelets hanging along the chain? 

⋙ Another tip is to have the pendants closely hanged next to one another, then they will all look closely packed together while worn instead of tangling here and there like normal bracelets.

If you don't have so many gachapon toys, you can go and find those super cheap keychains. They may look fugly individually but I believe they will look cute as a bunch of toys hanging around your wrist.

For accessories spare parts, you can head down to Chinatown to get them. They are cheap to get. Just to share, I personally like to visit this shop for spare parts cause their stuffs are forever buy 1 get 1 free and there's so many choices to pick for accessories DIY:

i know la ! This looks like some Chinese New Year goodie bag or Chinese fortune bag from ancient times like shown in films and dramas . But then , even with only the glass of perfume is also worth the price and worth to collect if you are a fan of MJ's collections ! & i dont know how to describe the smell . Hmm... got sweet scent but not totally !

i didnt get the red mascara though it is a limited edition mascara . cause I HAVENT TRIED THE PURPLE MASCARA of their previous limited edition ! ≧艸≦ Anyhow , red also seems a bit dramatic to me . ❞

After "reading" this magazine , it just makes me wanna everything inside !!! That is why Zipper is one of my favorite magazines ! Popteen and Vivi arent my favourite , cause the gyaru style often doesnt suit me , nice but too girly ! (´ ꒢ `) Zipper is more funky , suits me more ! (^ ∀ ^)〳♡♡♡ & also EGG & JELLY magazine's styles too ! hehehehe . Anyone same thought ? ≧∀≦

April's fool day is just another day

Super boring season ! i'm allllll the way rotting ! Maybe not exactly . My new closet and dressing table arrived on Tuesday and i did packing for my mess . Now is more organized ! ＊笑＊　And i need some DIY but i didnt have what i need . ORZ ～

Holy oh glory ! i cant believe the day is coming soon !!!! NEXT SUNDAY !!! i will be stepping into Taiwan for the first time next Sunday and follow up by a 6 days 5 nights of Taipei tour ! i cant wait to spam shopping !!! Everything there seems so pretty and holy compared to Singapore's . So many not-to-be-missed ! Hopefully i control my cash well ! ≥ω≤

For now , let's hope this year's campers are easy to handle ! No guai lan kias ! ^_____^
