Most pathetic chalet venue

Met up with Monica yesterday to drop by class (more like course since there were 3D students) chalet for BBQ session at Coasta Sands Resort (Sentosa) . We were rather lost in Sentosa but when we found the place , we couldn't find the entrance to get in . *Ａｇｈｈｈ !!!* Thanks to Peng , we managed to figure our way to the resort . It was a loooooooooooong journey ! *ｈｏｔ　ｓｗｅａｔ*


Not that i wanna grumble about the chalet but IT IS really small and pathetic ! i'm not the only one . Rix commented it's like staying in a storeroom . Austin wanted to say the f-word when he first saw the "room" and wished that there is a least a basement or what to the toilet . YES , NO TOILET ! When you need to visit the toilet , you have to walked out of the hut . There is a toilet nearby .

Luckily i didnt intend to stay , if not i don't know how the hell am i going to survive in such a small room with so many people . Plus guys were going to have mahjong session at night and there goes the only space .

No matter what , it is a KAMPONG hut !

But on the overall , i still enjoy myself especially it's a rare chance for me to sit down and chit chat with my classmates . School life is still the best ! Last of all , credits to Joseph who organized this chalet .

Graduated

So now , i'm a graduate from Diploma in Digital Media . 3 years has past like a rocket and left countless memories . Government School life is seriously the best ! More than just studies .

What is Render 2010 ?

It's the title for my graduation showcase which was held last Friday and Saturday . Other than students from Diploma in Digital Media like me , there's also students from Diploma in Music and Audio Technology who did performance as their showcase .

And oh , did i mention before ? i'm soooooooooo excited about my first name card in my 19 years of life ! i cant stop giving out to close friends . huhuhu ～

Though booth was abandoned , there were still people taking our name cards . Yesterday , i miraculously received an email invitation for a job request by AsknLearn . But i'm not going for it since the role given is multimedia/IT trainer which is almost like my internship in TTSH .



Emptiness and just emptiness . All are just our own people . Guests arrived only at night . We spent most of the time stoning . Anytime , anywhere !

And of course , PHOTO-TAKING SESSIONS !!! ↓↓ （☼゜∀｀）ノ~~~♡



i didnt manage to watch day two's performance !!! ORZ ～ Day one's performance i watched like 3 times (?) yet day two none . Too bad , i just missed it ! But it seemed more exciting leh . ｡･ﾟﾟ(ﾉД`)

And i think best part of this showcase is performance by the students from DMAT . Live band performance , who doesnt like ?

All and all , this showcase was successfully held in this bloody expensive place called ↓↓


Now , showcase has ended . it marked down my last two days being a DDM student . i'm a fresh graduate without a certificate . i'm jobless and school-less too !!! OMG !!!

Watching Avatar in 3D sucks

Half-day of work on Monday due to gradbook photoshoot . i was rather dumbfounded when we were told to do one normal pose and three freestyle pose . Plus the shots were from head to waist . Luckily i wore my biker jacket + hoodie that day if not my shots will be rather "empty" . But , in the end , mind still went blank for pose to do since i cannot do big actions like two hands on waist . (≧ﾍ≦) Well , cant wait to see the end product ! o(^∀^*)o

On a side note , why during my session is like so damn long ?! (ノД`)ハァ

Then , i went to catch Avatar in 3D with Grace , Bavani and Yaching . We havent met for like nearly months !

Anyway , during the movie , i was rather pissed off with the 3D specs . (My first time watching 3D movie in cinema .) it doesnt fit me well . it kept falling , making me giddy . （;≧皿≦）。゜°。ううううぅぅぅ At times , i really felt like taking it off and watch it off the screen . Totally kills my mood !

The movie is beautifully filled with awesome to max effects like fantasy . Cool yet typical storyline - hero saves the day .

The way how the movie was built can imagine how far the director has visualized about the movie . The script was written on 1994 when i was only damn 4 . And initial plan was released on 1999 after completing Tatantic . But director didnt as he needed more advanced technology to match his vision of the movie . (Read more)

In the movie , i like how the story goes about with totally alien stuffs and the creatures interact with humans . Pretty interesting ! Even caught hold of my breath at a few tense moments . If the twist and turns could be more unexpected , it will be a damn thumbs up movie ! (*´∀｀*)ゞ Watashi already feels like looking up into it's production too since it looks so virtual and real at the same time . And i dont know why i'm suddenly so enthu with this movie . Earlier when lecturers made me to understand some popular movies' productions , i didnt even care to bother .

i cant survive without labtop/computer

Oh gosh ! Labtop is finally silence but has come to the worse state - THE LABTOP FAN IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE !!! i rather it makes noises . Now the labtop is just non-stop heating up and also release a burning smell ! RAHHHHH ~ Now i've got no choice but to get it repair in no time before the whole labtop dies !

Alright , forget about my labtop ! Problems are never ending .

On Monday , only Yaching , Grace and i went to watch Aliens in the Attic preview . The others werent free . The preview was held at The Grand Cathay . The venue was so grand that made me feel so noob ! Concert like theatre which the curtain will drew open when advertisements start showing . And , the screen is concave !





Anyway , Aliens in the Attic isnt that bad compared to I Love You Beth Cooper . it managed to grab hold of my attention and wanting to know what is going to happen next . All i can say is watch Aliens in the Attic and not I Love You Beth Cooper !

And today i went running at Pioneer stadium ! Like so finally !!! But then stamina is really worse now ! Two rounds and i'm almost dead - giddy and felt like vomiting ! @.@ So , when i'm about halfway completed my third round , i'm already walking !!!!!!!! Worse of all , i didnt even walk till the sixth round to complete 2.4km ! Hua was the only one who ran the whole 2.4km ! Wenjing was also dying and didnt complete the last round . Hahaha . So we decided to train slowly . Like few rounds first then increase another round and so on . Hope this method works fast ! XD

Gonna do FYP this holiday

School holiday starts from today ! But i havent even complete my assignment which suppose to be submitted YESTERDAY !!! Rendering is like taking forever for just one frame/image !

i thought i could be able to submit yesterday on time yet problems just cropped up just when i almost finish rendering with about 5 computers ! My rocking chair is blinking madly !!! Damn ! Just because of this , i'm screwed !

Now gonna spend my weekends solving the problems and re-render .

Holidays arent gonna be the same . FYP is now on top task to complete . Therefore , i cannot afford to enjoy till 17 August ! But one day of break in between is alright . (: We gonna fight till the end !!! WOOOOO ~

& damn la ! Lecturers and supervisors are simply confusing us in certain ways ! Like the coming interim presentation for CG . Supervisor kept telling us how important it is and so on . But ended up Kenny Ong told Shalini and i that we dont have to present . We follow 3D schedule ! Fuck la ! Didnt they have a meeting for all supervisors ? Stop confusing us or being uncertain ! i'm sick and tired of listening to different stories !



Fine , i shall just concentrate on FYP and ignore everything !

East Coast Park with DDMmates

Friday after school was fun and mind relaxing . i went East Coast Park with YaChing , Bavani , Weatherly and Jerold . But only YaChing , Bavani and i cycled .

Jerold led us the way since he lives nearby . But we still walked the wrong direction because i thought should be that way and yaaaa , we headed towards the highway ... Gomenasai ! But is a good exercise right ? Hahaha ~ When we were nearing East Coast Park ,Weatherly had to leave to meet her friend already at Changi . She should have just continue her train journey from Paya Lebar .

We rested at Mc Donald's before setting off with our rented bikes .

Not long after i took this photo , they came up after their fun . We still had about 50mins to spare ! (By the way , we rented for two hours .) i wanted to drink coconut ! So we went to the food area to rest and have a sip , and even shared seats with two friendly ladies as tables were all occupied .

Zoooooooomed back to the Retal store when our 2 hours is ending . (tiring) YaChing and i have to toot toot (train) back home while Bavani took a direct bus home (you idiot la ! HAHA) .

That night , not long after i reached home , i went to bed already . i was damn tired ! And i couldnt believe that i was so tired that the next day i woke up at about 3pm plus !!! 豚(buta) !

Anyway and anyhow , i need to rush my assignment from today onwards . i have wasted too much time and now left with no extra time to spare . Cheer for me 私を応援 ! :D

Nearly electric shock

Yesterday was scary and guilty . All started from me trying to plug in my labtop's power plug into the socket .

Cause the socket was under the table .



i tried to feel for the hole with my power plug but failed . So i lower down my head trying to plug it in again . Trying very hard and suddenly a sparks just blasted off ! Of course i was damn shocked . My face was just probably a 12cm rule away ! i took a moment to get back from my shocking and i realised i have just caused a blackout in everyone's computers , including mine ! And everyone was doing their assignments ... (ZOMG!)

Now , i dont dare to plug in the socket anymore . SCARY !


In the afternoon , we had an ITP talk . YES , I'M GOING TO HAVE INTERNSHIP JUST BEFORE I GRADUATE LIKE A FRESH ORANGE ! From 26 October to 18 February . We have surveys and documents to submit by respective deadlines and we are also presented with presentations of different Overseas ITP package . At the same time seeing familiar faces on screen - JingQuan & WenLong . Cause they just had their ITP at Overseas .

Though all are in China but the activities sounds awesome ! Since we'll be going during the Autumn/Winter season , we'll get to Skii !!! COOL OR WHAT ?! And many other activities organised for us to enjoy . i think the percentage of working is much lesser than playing and enjoy . i pretty attracted to having Overseas ITP now ! Ha , and my dad said 你去做工還要幫你付錢 (you are going there to work but i still have to help you pay for the trip) !

i think i'm going to sign up for it ! Hopefully i'll get into the package i want (but currently havent choose which) . i simply dont want to stay in Singapore for ITP - boring ! XD


Today in school was madly over facebook because of marriage related quizes that makes the topic go hot and we were also laughing at each other's answers !

A trip to MDA

These days were happenings . Pretty cool happenings ! :D

Wednesday to Friday was CCA drive . And i went down on Thurday . CSCC got such a bad spot . it's simply just a small booth beside the DJ (?) booth . Bad noise pollution since the volume was too high to hear one another's voice and we need to raise our voices . Flipping through the forms , one of them caught my eye . Familiar name and the NRIC starts with 90 ! But not much information was written , so i cannot figure out if one of my P1/2 classmate . And i also dont know if we recognise each other (the last time i saw her was Sec 1 for Keyboard lesson in Pasir Ris Crest Sec) . But there's such possibility since Singapore is SO SMALL ! XD

On the same day , i went to meet my girls after my FYP discussion . Peng and i went over Causeway Point to meet Chris , and since we hadn't have our lunch , we went to eat Pizza Hut which was tempting . The price too ! We took only about a minute to order cause promotion ends at 5pm and we were just few minutes to 5pm ! Hahahah ~ Mad !

After that , we spent our night at Bugis with Hua . We wanted to catch a movie but the timing at the new Cinema was late and by the time the movie ends will be super late ! Arcaded , and dinner-ed since Hua kept saying that she's hungry . i only ordered a drink while the rest of them order a dish . We spent a madful time over there . Or probably i should say Hua and Peng were the ones who were mad ! XD

Friday was such a sleepy day for me ! i simply dont know why . All i know is that I WANNA SLEEP ! Anyway , that morning i forced myself to reach school early since we had to arrive school before 8.45am to take a bus over to Fusionopolis .



We visited MDA (Media Development Authority) for a talk in their screening theatre/room . Well , all i can say it's such a cosy place ! So nice to sleep on that i kept struggling to wake up ! (Opps!)



One of the staffs there gave us a talk about Classification .













Pretty interesting but short clips were disgusting ! Cause short clips were a certain part of movies . There's Klass , The Passion of the Christ and a funny R21 Tamil movie (sounds insulting the religion that's why R21) . OHMYLOLLIPOP ! That part they show of Klass is FUCKING DISGUSTING ! Felt like vomiting lah ! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww to the core ! it's like watching pornography ! @.@

After the break , we were allowed to watch a NC16 movie (i forgot the title) and to try to rate it ourselves . Oh well , as i mentioned earlier i was pretty sleepy on Friday , hence i kept stuggling to stay awake but i just couldnt . i slept at parts of the movie , mostly the front part ! (Oppsy! Shhh~)

Before we left was survey time ! High-tech sia !

Friday was basically spent sleeping . i dont know why but i just feel damn sleeply !
